Teaching Music and working with children is Brenda’s passion! Brenda always enjoys exploring creative ways to enriching her students’ musical journey. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Brenda has developed a substantial curriculum that allows students to learn piano easily and professionally in a fun environment.
Brenda was born to a musical family. Her music adventure started at the age of 3. Her parents discovered her musical talent and brought her to study with a well-known Professor for Piano. She graduated with honors and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance with an emphasis in Pedagogy from BeiJing Normal University, China. Professionally she has taught Piano for several years at the University. She has performed as a soloist and ensemble member and also worked as an accompanist in some of the leading ballet schools in China.
Brenda is an active member of the MTAC. Additionally, she is also a fully credentialed and experienced pre-school teacher after graduating in early childhood education from De Anza College, Cupertino, CA. Combining both her credentials in music education and early childhood development, Brenda is specialized in designing and teaching group programs beginning at pre-school level.
